Pharmacist

Requirements:

  • Master / Bachelor degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences & Technology
  • Must be registered Pharmacist with the Singapore Pharmacy Board
  • Familiar with Health Sciences Authority (HSA) standard requirements of GMP/GDP
  • At least 3 – 5 years experience as a Pharmacist
  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Advise physicians on the proper selection and use of medicine
  • Determining, negotiating and agreeing in-house quality procedures, standards and/or specifications in accordance with the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) standard requirement of GMP/GDP
  • Attend to both internal and external audits conducted by internal auditors / external certification body for GDPMDS (Goods Distribution Practice for Medical Devices) & GDP (Goods Distribution Practice) for Medicinal Products
  • Administer on the product recall procedures, goods return procedures and Field Safety Corrective Action (FSCA)
  • Dispense drugs and supervise personnel and pharmacy technician on daily operations to ensure good inventory control and prevent drug-related problems
  • Dispensing and counseling on the prescribed medicines, drug information to healthcare professional and manage other drug related matters
  • Providing overall quality pharmaceutical care to patients
  • Plan, implement and maintain procedures for labeling pharmaceuticals, according to policy and legal requirements to ensure quality, security and proper disposal
  • Disseminate and implement operational and pharmaceutical policies
  • Procure drug-information
  • Assuring the quality of in-coming and out-going goods are met by following strictly to the procedure of re-checking the goods prior to accept the order or delivery of goods
  • Monitor and minimize adverse drug reactions
  • Prevent misuse of drugs and medication errors
  • Ensure proper storage of drugs and cleanliness and tidiness of pharmacies
  • Provide good customer service
  • Ensuring the distribution of the products to our customers follow strictly to HSA rules and regulations of Medicines Act, Poisons Act and Misuse of Drugs Act
  • Advise customers on any medical-related queries when required
  • Recording, analyzing and distributing statistical information
  • Attend and handle all written and oral complaints with regards to product defect
  • Assist in the training of interns perform any other duties as assigned
