We aim to adopt a more specialised dementia care model for clients with dementia, which focuses on delivering person-centred care and improving the ageing experience, promoting independence, as well as active and social involvement in the community through:
Significantly, we are adopting the ‘Enriched Model of Dementia Care’, developed by Professor Thomas Kitwood towards Dementia Day Care. This enriched model focuses on the process of dementia, and our experienced staff will customise care plans to facilitate our clients’ utilisation of abilities, while promoting enjoyment and validation in line with the model.

- Specialized Engagement Program known as ‘HOME’ (Healing Of Mind through Engagement), which is facilitated by OV staff who are specifically trained in recognising various aspects of dementia care and their respective treatments, placing clients’ well-being at the core of this programme.
