Changi

Housed in conserved colonial buildings built in 1930, Changi is Orange Valley’s first nursing home, having opened its doors in 1993. The old-world charm is enhanced by the flora and fauna that surround the compound, creating an idyllic ambience far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are separate wards for men and women, and in the open wards, walls provide a degree of privacy. The sprawling grounds are an ideal place for a peaceful, rejuvenating stroll.

Clementi

Opened in 2003, Clementi was our first purpose-built nursing home. Built to serve residents in the West, it is conveniently located among the neighbourhood’s HDB flats. Residents enjoy a vibrant atmosphere and an array of social-recreational and rehabilitative activities. The specially-designed pond at the lobby is a favourite spot for residents and visitors alike, with the gently swimming koi providing a restful ambience. The rehabilitation room looks out on the pond’s serenity, no doubt aiding the residents’ progress. The six storey building also boasts a rooftop garden that offers a perfect venue for memorable celebrations and events.

Masiling

The purpose-built Marsiling branch was opened in 2007 and houses a rehabilitation centre, multi-purpose hall, koi pond, vegetable garden, and even a piano for residents to tap out a tune. The renovated single and 2-bedded rooms are exceptionally comfortable, in keeping with Orange Valley’s promise to stay abreast of the changing needs of residents — soothing LED ambient lighting, ensuite toilets, aromatherapy diffusers, mini-fridges, air-conditioning and individual wall-mounted TVs all combine to create a home away from home feel.

Simei

The purpose-built Simei branch opened in 2006, is situated between Changi General Hospital and
St Andrew’s Community Hospital, and offers step-down care to residents. The six-storey facility boasts a rooftop garden and a breezy open air terrace which offers excellent views. There is a spacious dining area on each floor that promotes healthy interaction among residents while they enjoy a good meal. The ‘home-like’ feel is enhanced by the letters of appreciation sent in by residents, used to decorate the walls.
